Organic Peanut Butter
You can add more or less of each ingredients depending on the consistency you want.
Once everything is mixed you can flatten them on to parchment paper and put them in the freezer for overnight.

Earlier today, I went to brunch with some of my close friends. We went to this really awesome restaurant a little outside Williams-burg called Soco. The restaurant specializes in Southern fused cuisines and can definitely make a tasty meal. We both had the fried chicken with a red velvet waffle and shared a mac & cheese. Everything was so delicious and the red velvet waffle seriously tasted exactly like cake texture and all. If you live in NYC and or visiting you have to put this on your list.
For my outfit I wanted to keep it super casual, but dress it up a little with my bag. Graphic tees and converses are my go to pieces when creating a casual outfit, remember comfy and cute.

Very Berry Smoothie Bowl
I love smoothie bowls for breakfast, they are a simple, tasty and a nutritious meal. They are great for getting in your daily fruit/vegetable intake. As well as adding amazing nutritional benefits when you add super food toppings such as chia seeds and goji berries. Both packed with omega-3 fatty acids, calcium and fiber.
If I could eat this for breakfast everyday I would, I love avocado it just adds such a delicious taste to everything. I usually eat my avocado toast pretty plain just a little salt and pepper or an egg on top. But you can add so many toppings to it like sliced tomatoes, red pepper flakes, smoked salmon, feta cheese the list goes on forever. Avocados are packed with potassium, fiber and lowers cholesterol.
Oatmeal is definitely a go to breakfast during the fall and winter, when my house is freezing. I love oatmeal because you can make it both sweet and or savory. I usually like to make mine with almond milk and sweeten it will coconut sugar, topped with fresh fruit. Oats are great for lowering cholesterol, and is high in fiber.
What is your favorite healthy breakfast ?
So if you guys follow me on Instagram you would know that monthly brunches are apart of my life. I love waking up a little later on a Saturday and going to brunch around 12 its a perfect way to start a weekend and definitely a treat.
Westville , East Village
A great small brunch spot in the East Village of the city, very reasonable prices with amazing food. I recommend the baked challah bread French toast that is pictured above, it’s so fluffy yet still a bit dense. So it isn’t soggy if you put syrup on it, also it’s topped with powdered sugar and strawberries like YES !
Sweet Chick , East Village
Another awesome place in the East Village that are famous for there chicken and waffles. That I obviously had to try and they really are so good. As well as an assortment of different butters they put on the table for the waffles. Like lemon butter, rosemary and another flavor that I just can’t seem to remember. They also have a really cozy themed restaurant and you won’t feel like you are in the city while in there.
Ovelia , Astoria
This amazing Greek restaurant in Astoria, Queens is a must see when in NYC. They have such a tasty and affordable brunch menu as well as being a healthier alternative if you live a healthy lifestyle but still want to go to brunch. I recommend there sandwich and salad brunch option because one it’s super tasty and definitely fills you up until a late lunch.
So those are my three go to brunch places, but I am always down to try a new place to eat. Let me know in the comments what are your favorite places to go eat !
